[Twitter] 2PM’s Taecyeon compliments rookie group NU’EST

2PM‘s Taecyeon recently complimented rookie idol group NU’EST on their manners.

The singer recently updated his Twitter page and wrote, “I can’t work out, but I still went to the gym to see my trainer Hwang Jin Ho hyung~ Then suddenly juniors NU’EST appeared!! They were cute and greeted me politely~ I must sleep now~ Everyone Taec-night~ ^^”

Fans who were glad to see him supporting his juniors favorited his tweet and shared it via their respective Twitter pages.

In related news, Taec and the rest of 2PM recently concluded their ‘6 BEAUTIFUL DAYS‘ concerts at the Budokan in Japan.

[News] 2PM’s Wooyoung drops more details on his upcoming solo album

After revealing that he’d be making a solo debut last month, 2PM‘s Wooyoung has returned with more details as the first solo debut of 2PM!

Although Junsu and Junho have experience releasing solo tracks through their Asia tour, Wooyoung will be the first member to formally release a solo album and promote it. Wooyoung’s album will include one self-composed song by fellow member Junho and will be comprised of five to six songs, making it a mini-album at length.

When asked why he is the first solo out of the other members, Wooyoung replied that it was by suggestion of J.Y. Park. “Jin Young hyung said that compared to the other members, I didn’t have a distinguishing factor all my own so he told me to release a solo album. I’m grateful that he’s giving me an opportunity like this.”

Wooyoung’s album will be released in July, with close friend 2AM‘s Jo Kwon‘s scheduled for the end of June.

[News] 2PM Beautiful PROJECT ‘Planting Rose Seeds’ Event

2PM is holding an ‘planting rose seeds’ project in celebrating the release of their 4th single ‘Beautiful’ on June 6.

A special website has been created for the internet event ‘2PM Beautiful PROJECT’ to plant the roses that is seen in the new single ‘Beautiful’ album jacket photo.

Internet users can participate by clicking on the red button, choose a garden bed and click on a spot you wish to plant the seed. Then afterwards select a type of rose and one person can only plant one rose seed. The seed that the user planted will be in full bloom the next day at 2pm.

There are already roses planted by 2PM members themselves, with roses decorated and formed words also. A special video will be released when all of the roses are 100% in bloom.

2PM’s fourth Japanes single is to release in about 7 months after the release of their third single ‘Ultra Lover’ released last November.

[News] 2PM’s Taecyeon Will Tone Down His Workout After His Injury

Who knew you could injure your arm while arm wrestling? 2PM’s Taecyeon definitely didn’t, and now he plans to tone down his workout so it doesn’t happen again.

MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment” briefly met up with 2PM’s Taecyeon for an interview that was broadcast on June 3rd. During the interview, Taecyeon was seen in his sling and commented, “My arm got injured from arm wrestling. Originally I did not know one can injure his arm when wrestling but apparently when you work up your muscles it makes them prone to injury. Now, I will cut down on my exercise[s].”

I don’t think anyone could have expected that to happen, but at least he’s alright. Hopefully his arm will heal quickly!!

[News ] Wonder Girls’ Yenny reveals the name of the male voice in “Girlfriend”

Wonder Girls‘ Yenny revealed the hidden story behind the new songs that she helped write and produce, “R.E.A.L” and “Girlfriend“.

On June 3rd, Yenny tweeted, “The male voice heard in the chorus of ‘Girlfriend’ is 2PM‘s Junho! Thank you Junho for accepting our sudden request~ To be honest we were trying to do give and take and cast Taecyeon, but it didn’t work out because of his surgery.”

Yenny also shared, “‘R.E.A.L’ is a song you need to listen to at least three times before it gets really good. If you listen to it just once, you’ll go ‘Huh?’ The key point in ‘Girlfriend’ is Yubin‘s sigh in her rap part.”

After seeing her tweets, fans commented, “I can’t believe that voice was Junho’s!“, “There was a give and take on surprise voice appearance, that’s funny“, and “Thought ‘R.E.A.L’ was good when I heard it for the the first time.”

Meanwhile, Wonder Girls released their new album “Wonder Party” on June 3rd and have been topping the charts ever since.

[News] Mystery woman for Caribbean Bay with 2PM is miss A’s Suzy?

Last week, popular water park Caribbean Bay posted a new teaser photo for their endorsement with 2PM. They posted a photo with a cutout of a woman and wanted fans to guess who the next lucky female star would be to work with 2PM.

The official answer will be revealed on June 8th, but on June 4th, miss A‘s Suzy was seen on official promotional pictures with 2PM through Everland Caribbean Bay’s official website.

[News] 2PM renews their contract with ‘Look Optical’

Idol group 2PM renewed their contract with Look Optical.

2PM became the first idols to sign with an eyeglasses brand when Look Optical selected 2PM as models in 2011. With their Star Marketing, Look Optical went to dominate the eyeglasses market and earned an explosive response from the consumers.

A representative from Look Optical remarked, “After 2PM’s CF was released in February of 2011, 80-plus franchise stores increased their sales numbers, and the fashion glasses worn by the 2PM members have completely sold out. In order to broaden our ‘Glasses make the face’ concept and our ‘Fashion Glasses Shop’ image, we have decided to renew our contract with 2PM.”

In related news, 2PM will continue their eyewear promotions for the next year as exclusive models for ‘Look Optical’.
