2PM‘s Wooyoung revealed how he seeks revenge against J.Y. Park, the current head of his entertainment company.

On the July 12th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, 2AM‘s Jo Kwon revealed that he could not go against J.Y. Park. “I would like for the agency head to know the hardships of the artists,” he said.

Wooyoung then chimed in, remarking that he once decided to get even with J.Y. Park. “J.Y. Park let us listen to a song, telling us it was our title song and asked what we thought,” he said.

When asked how many times he turned him down, Wooyoung answered “about 11 times,” causing the other guests on set to explode into laughs.

“We also begged [J.Y. Park] to give us a vacation,” Wooyoung said. The singer who stated that 2PM worked non stop after their debut continued, “Every time we danced, I asked him for time off,” causing everyone to continue roaring in laughter.

Also on the episode were Eun Ji Won, SISTAR, and MIB‘s Kangnam.

SBS ‘K-Pop Super Concert in America’ Confirmed for August 10 in Los Angeles

The previously mentioned “SBS K-Pop Festival in LA” has changed its title to “SBS K-Pop Super Concert” and stylish Facebook page.

The Facebook page also included a modified lineup of K-Pop’s most popular idol groups fitting its new title as a super concert.

The original lineup which included 4minute, INFINITE and BEAST have now been switched with 2AM, CNBLUE and MBLAQ. The other artists in attendance are Girls’ Generation, SHINee, 2PM, SISTAR, KARA and SECRET.

The official performance of “SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America” is confirmed for August 10 at the Home Depot Center in Carson located near downtown Los Angeles.

Tickets are to go on sale Wednesday, July 18 at 10AM PDT through AXS, not Ticketmaster as previously stated. Tickets will be available to purchase on July 18 here or call 888-9AXS-TIX (888-929-7849).

[News] 2PM’s Woo Young in a Beauty Contest?!

On the July 10th episode of SBS “Strong Heart,” 2PM’s Jang Woo Young revealed that he received the Grand Prize in a “Pretty Child Competition.”

When asked by the show MC, Shin Dong Yup, “Is it true that you were in a beauty competition?” Woo Young shared, “There was a pretty child competition, which was held once in a while in rural areas. The only thing I was confident in was dancing so I just free styled.” He continued to share, “It was a great atmosphere. All the parents cheered for me and the audience went wild.”

In the photo footage of Woo Young participating in the contest, he is wearing a very formal suit. But when the song started, he busted out his free style moves.

Many netizens who viewed the episode commented: “He had so much talent since childhood,” “He’s the best in free styling,” and “He totally deserves to be the beauty contest winner.”

2PM member Taecyeon and 2AM member Seulong attended the movie premier of “5 Million Dollar Man” in support for Park Jin Young.

The two attended the movie premier that took place on July 11th at the Seoul CGV. On this day, Taecyeon posted on his Twitter “We came to watch Park Jin Hyung’s “5 Million Dollar Man”~ Everyone please check it out also!!”, along with a photo taken with 2AM Seulong.

In the revealed photo, Taecyeon and Seulong are flaunting their handsome faces that shine even in the dark movie theatre.

To this, JYP commented “Because you guys showed up everyone is talking about casting you guys intead of my next movieT.T,” showing their close bond.

[News] 2PM’s Nichkhun admits he pretended not to understand Korean at times

On the international stars special of ‘Radio Star‘, 2PM‘s Nichkhun admitted that he sometimes pretended as if he did not understand Korean in the past, leaving the guests laughing at his sly yet honest confession.

On the July 11th broadcast, 2PM’s Nichkhun was asked, “Rumor has it that you speak Korean well enough to even use profanity, but other times you pretend you don’t understand at all. Is this true?”

“This is true,” Nichkhun answered and further explained that this was something he had done in the past. “Sometimes when I didn’t want to do something, I listened for a while and gave them a blank look and pretended I didn’t understand. But now I can’t get away with doing that anymore, I’ve used it way too many times,” he added, evoking laughter on set.

The MCs then asked him if the 2PM members use profanity often, and contrary to the MCs hopes of further digging out the unknown habits of the 2PM members, Nichkhun remarked, “Of course…not.”

Also on the episode was his previous ‘We Got Married‘ partner, f(x) leader Victoria and Robert Holley.
