[News] 2PM’s Junho appointed honorary ambassador for World Vision’s ‘Famine 24′ project


World Vision recently appointed 2PM‘s Junho as an honorary ambassador to help promote ‘Famine 24‘.
‘Famine 24' is one of the main representative programs of World Vision, where for 24 hours, individuals can experience the lives of those around the world who are suffering from poverty, disease, and warfare.
This is a generation where one child dies from malnutrition every 4 seconds, and countries such as Korea, New Zealand, the US, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and more are holding this campaign in an effort to remember these lost lives.

Junho who has always been concerned with the pain of people all over the world deeply identified with the object of the campaign, and will now be promoting as an honorary ambassador for ‘Famine 24'. In addition to promoting the campaign, the singer also plans to participate in any ‘Famine24' project being held in various Asian countries if given the opportunity. In turn, this is also expected to draw much participation from 2PM fans overseas.

At the World Vision event where Junho was appointed honorary ambassador, Junho remarked, “I hope that the children that I help will be able to grow up happily so that they too in turn can become individuals who help others. As an honorary ambassador of World Vision’s ‘Famine 24' project, I hope to share the warmth and joy of ‘sharing’.

World Vision’s Sponsor Development Director Jun Jae Hyun said, “We were deeply touched by 2PM member Junho’s participation as an honorary ambassador despite his busy schedule, and we would like to convey our gratitude. ‘Famine 24' is an opportunity for teens to develop a ‘unified’ mentality, and a valuable time for them to learn about the pain and sufferings of the world. [News] 2PM Wooyoung and Shin Bora share a ‘SamGaeTang Kiss’ on Gag Concert?


2PM‘s Wooyoung made an appearance on the most recent episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Gag Concert – Discoveries of Life‘.

During his portion of the episode, Wooyoung transformed into a ‘cute yet sexy beast-dol‘ for comedian Shin Bora and showcased his extreme ‘Celebrity Syndrome‘ as part of the comedy. When comedian Song Jun Geun came up to the star saying it’s a coming together of the ‘cutlass’ and ‘anchovy’, Wooyoung replied incongruously to the question, “No pictures. I can’t take personal photos.” In addition, when Kim Ki Ri offered the singer the menu folder, he again replied, “I’ll sign that for you later“, of out no where. He even mistook his boss’s text message as proof of ‘stalking’ of a crazed fan.

The 2PM member did not hesitate with the corny lovey-dovey scenes either. When Shin Bora tried to dip a piece of chicken in salt to feed the singer, Wooyoung stated, “I wanna dip them on your lips“, stealing the hearts of the female audience. The highlight of the show was Shin Bora and Wooyoung’s ‘SamGaeTang kiss’.

Although the on-screen couple seemed “oh-so in love”, when Song Jun Geun asked Shin Bora, “If Taecyeon and Wooyoung both confessed to you at the same time, would you have picked Wooyoung?” she would not give a straight answer, humiliating Wooyoung.

In the 2PM group picture in “Gag Concert,” Nichkhun was missing.

In KBS 2TV “Gag Concert” aired on the 29th, gagman Kim Jun Hyun came out as 2PM’s Taecyeon, shocking everyone. But in the 2PM group picture that came out with him, Nichkhun currently in drunk-driving issue was missing, attracting much attention.

On the 24th, 2PM’s Nichkhun had an accident with a motorcycle after drinking 2 cups of beer, bringing disappointment to his fans.

The “Gag Concert” aired on this day was filmed on the 25th, which was after Nichkhun’s accident. It is assumed to have been removed because of the accident.

[News] 2PM’s Wooyoung was asked out by an older actress?


2PM‘s Wooyoung revealed that he’s been asked out by an older actress on the July 28th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘.

Wooyoung shared, “I’ve gotten asked out by an older actress before. The actress asked me, ‘Do you want to date?’, but I wasn’t ready for it, so I turned her down.”

He was then asked about a previous statement he made about being approached by three idol singers. MC Lee Young Ja commented, “I really think that Hyoyeon asked you out.”

The Girls’ Generation member responded, “That never happened,” while KARA‘s Jiyoung added, “Today’s the first time I’ve talked to him.

[News] Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon has never dated a celebrity


On the July 28th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon briefly talked about her relationship experiences.

2PM‘s Wooyoung was a special guest on this week’s episode as a part-time employee at the ‘Youth Lodge House’. The singer teamed up with MC Lee Young Ja, Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon, and KARA‘s Jiyoung to make Korean samgetang for the next guests staying at the house.

In the middle of cooking, MC Lee Young Ja asked Wooyoung, “You revealed that you were approached by three female stars in the past, is this true?”

Wooyoung very honestly answered, “Yes, this is true. I have been approached.”

Lee Young Ja then asked, “Are there any of the G5 members that approached you?”, causing Wooyoung to hesitate momentarily but he didn’t answer. Then Lee Young Ja went to Hyoyeon to ask in jest if she could be one of the ones that asked him out, Hyoyeon immediately refuted, “Absolutely not. I’ve never dated another celebrity before.

Wooyoung then added that an older actress had asked him out but he wasn’t ready for a relationship at the time.

[News] Another Witness Speaks Up about 2PM Nichkhun’s Accident “He Took Care of The Victim”


With the controversy around 2PM Nichkhun’s drunk driving accident, another witness speaks up regarding Nichkhun.

On the 29th broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV,” a witness brought to light various assertions made about Nichkhun’s actions after the accident.

First, the paramedics present at the scene stated, “The victim (who was hit by Nichkhun’s car) was feeling a lot of pain in his back, while his ear was bleeding because of a ripped cartilage. He was experiencing a lot of pain in his left shoulder as well.” The victim was taken to the hospital and is currently being treated.

Also, the police stated, “Nichkhun’s blood alcohol level came out to 0.056%. In regular situations, the offender’s license would be revoked for 100 days, and when an accident occurs the license is canceled if the other party is hurt. Nichkhun’s traffic violation was the road traffic law. He will be investigated further.

A witness who witnessed the accident spoke about the criticisms regarding Nichkhun’s actions and stated, “He never tried to deny his actions or anything like that. Rather, he told the victim, ‘Don’t move and stay as you are. The 119(911) paramedics are coming.’

In related news, JYP Entertainment released an official public apology and Nichkhun expressed his regret by stating that he planned to take some time to reflect on his actions.

2PM‘s Wooyoung revealed that KARA‘s Jiyoung is liked by many male idols.

During the recent filming of KBS‘ ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, Jiyoung said, “I don’t have much dating experience,” which prompted Wooyoung to respond, “Jiyoung is immensely popular among the guys around me,” drawing much interest from the other cast members.

Wooyoung added, “People around me talk a lot about Jiyoung. I think they like her cute and innocent image.”

However, after hearing his compliment, Jiyoung made the others laugh as she responded, “I’m not that innocent. I know everything I need to know.

[News] Blackbox video of 2PM’s Nichkhun’s accident released


According to media reports, the blackbox video containing the footage of the accident involving 2PM‘s Nichkhun and the motorcyclist was recently released.

It is said that the video shows that Nichkhun was driving at a speed within 40 km per hour (~ 25 miles per hour) on the four-way street of Hakdong when he collided with a motorcycle driving at a relatively slow speed as well. However, both parties were revealed to have not paid attention to the stop line, which can be seen as the cause of the accident.

[News] Police: Both Nichkhun and Motorcyclist Responsible for Accident


Nichkhun’s drunk driving accident turned out to be caused by negligence.

On the July 30 broadcast of SBS’ “Good Morning,” officials in charge of the investigation of Nichkhun’s drunk driving accident revealed that it was not the fault of Nichkhun nor the motorcyclist. It was due to the negligence of both parties.

The police explained, “Even though Nichkhun and the motorcyclist were both driving at legal limits within the intersection they did not stop to check if traffic was coming from either side, if they had done so the accident would have been prevented.” The official continued, “The speed at which Nichkhun appeared to be driving at was less than 40 kilometers per hour (25 mph).

Meanwhile, police officials also commented on air about the condition of the cyclist, “The motorcyclist has suffered lacerations on his ear as well as the back of his head. He is suffering from shoulder and back pain as his lumbar vertebrae have been damaged.” An official with the hospital reported that, “When he originally was admitted JYP and an attorney visited his room. Currently he is under observation and has a nurse giving him 24 hour care.

At this time the motorcyclist refused to comment on the recent development. Once the cyclist recovers from his injuries he can expect to be summoned for further investigation.
