[Twitter] miss A‘s Suzy supports 2PM Wooyoung’s last performance of “Sexy Lady”
miss A‘s Suzy supported 2PM‘s Wooyoung at the last performance of his solo debut song “Sexy Lady“.
On August 5th, Suzy shared the photo above and tweeted, “I was filming nearby and went to support Wooyoung oppa’s last broadcast. ‘Sexy Lady’ mam mam I’m going to miss it.”
The picture reveals JYP Entertainment labelmates Wooyoung and Suzy posing for a friendly shot. Suzy especially attracted attention with her trademark long hair and neat bangs.
On the same day, Wooyoung also thanked Suzy for her visit by tweeting, “Suzy~ kind hoobae, keke, thanks for today’s support. And let’s just say that our Jia unni sent [her regards].”
Netizens commented, “Wooyoung and Suzy are really friendly,” “They look like siblings,” and “They unexpectedly look alike.”
Wooyoung finished the promotions for “Sexy Lady” on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on August 5th.

[News] SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America Has Been Postponed
Fans who were waiting for SBS’s K-Pop Super Concert in America this Friday will have to wait a little longer as a postponement of the event was announced today.
It was announced on Absolute K-pop, “We regret to inform you that the SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America, scheduled to take place at the Home Depot Center this Friday, August 10, 2012, has been postponed to a later date. More details will be announced as soon as possible.”
It was soon followed up with the messages:
“Tickets can be refunded on AXS.com or Hotdeal.KoreaDaily.com, depending on the method you used to purchase your tickets. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment we caused all of you. Please await an official letter of apology from SBS. More details regarding the postponed concert will be posted as soon as possible.”
and…
“Please hold on to your refunded tickets. We will make sure all those who have purchased tickets for the August 10, 2012 concert receive preferential ticketing options for the postponed concert.”
As the event was expected to have an amazing lineup of Girls’ Generation, MBLAQ, SHINee, Kara, 2PM, CN Blue, 2AM, SISTAR, and Secret, many K-Pop fans were saddened to hear the news of the postponement.

[News] '2012 JYP Nation' was So Hot with 10,000 Heart Beats Beating Together!
Regardless of the unbearable 96.8 degree heat, over 10,000 fans attended the "2012 JYP Nation Concert" to show their support.
Yesterday (July 4), artists and idol groups in the JYP Entertainment gathered at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium to perform at the "2012 JYP Nation Concert" which was last held back in 2010.
The hearts of the devoted fans were moved way before their feet danced to the performances. Idol groups and artists like Wonder Girls, 2PM, miss A, JJ Project, 2AM and San E were present at the concert to perform in front of their fans. JYP Entertainment's leader, Park Jin Young definitely knows what he is doing at all times. Every single member of the JYP family including Park Jin Young himself provided the fans with the best possible performance they could put on for the fans that showed up regardless of the torturous heat.
The concert was opened by miss A with performances of their songs "Touch", "Good-Bye Baby", and "Bad Girl Good Girl." They heated up the concert with a powerful performance that hyped up every single person who was present at the concert.
The second idol group to perform was the Wonder Girls. The Wonder Girls performed with a live band and delivered a sexy performance. The fans became one with the members of the Wonder Girls while they performed songs like "So Hot", "Like This" and "Like Money." It was impossible for the fans to hide their excitement as each member of the Wonder Girls sang their hearts out on stage.
A sense of calm returned to the fans when JJ Project, San E, 2AM and JOO appeared on stage to sing emotional songs that had the power to bring tears to the fans' eyes. JJ Project and San E performed "Bounce" and "Lovesick" to create a lovey-dovey atmosphere in the audience. 2AM on the other hand performed, "You Wouldn't Answer My Calls", "You Were Mine" and "I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me." All the artists mentioned performed above expectations and impressed the audience with their musical talents.
The climax of the excitement in the audience was created by 2PM. Even from the slightest view of the 2PM members, the audience began to scream so loud that the noise was almost deafening. All the audience in the 2nd and 3rd floors stood up as soon as 2PM appeared on stage and showed support as they performed.
2PM members performed "Hot", "I Hate You", "I'll Be back", and "Heartbeat." From the beginning of their performance until the very end, the audience couldn't stay in their seats. The fans especially went wild with excitement when Taecyeon began to rip his shirt followed by the rest of the members who also ripped their shirts. The audience almost fainted with excitement at the sight of their perfectly built bodies.
Nichkhun of 2PM was unable to perform at the "2012 JYP Nation" with the rest of the members because of his recent driving under the influence incident. On July 24, Nichkhun was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.056% when he got into an accident with a man on a motorcycle in Seoul.
During the concert, 2PM members stated, "We would like to apologize that all six of us couldn't be here today. We will never forget our fans that have always been there for us no matter what. Thank you" and expressed their gratitude. 2PM members continued, "We will pay you back by giving you an unforgettable performance. We'll make sure you have a good time."
Half way into the concert, Park Jin Young appeared on stage to perform "You're The One", "I Have a Girlfriend" and "The House You Live In" and impressed the audience with his professionalism and charismatic performances. Park Jin Young continued to smile regardless how much he was sweating from his passionate performances.
Park Jin Young stated, "JYP Nation wouldn't have happened without you guys. We wanted to show you so many things that we didn't have the chance to show you at any other place. Whenever I work with 2PM or the Wonder Girls, there are some songs that I really want to sing and perform myself. Today, I will specially sing and dance to some of those songs."
Park Jin Young and singers, who used to be under contract with JYP Entertainment, appeared on stage together to perform a collaboration stage. Together, they performed songs like "Be My Baby", "Again and Again" and "Bad Boy Good Boy."
In addition, Jang Wooyoung and Jo Kwon's solo performances also worked up the audience with their unique styles. 2PM appeared on stage once again to perform the finale performance of the "2012 JYP Nation Concert" and sang "10 Out of 10." 10 out of 10 was the score given to the performances that day.
A representative from JYP Entertainment released a statement saying, "Even in this heat, all the artists of JYP Entertainment worked really hard to prepare for this concert. Everybody enjoyed the concert and the artists were very happy performing in front of their fans."
It is the first time in two years since JYP Entertainment last held a "JYP Nation Concert." The first "JYP Nation" was held in 2010 in Seoul, then in 2011 in Japan. "2012 JYP Nation Concert" will continue in Japan on August 18 and 19.

[News] JYP Entertainment Successfully Hosts “FAN’s Day 2012″
JYP Entertainment hosted “FAN’s Day 2012” to thank all fans of JYPE artists for always supporting and loving them. The event lasted for three days from August 3 till August 5, from 10am until 10pm everyday. Approximately 4000 fans participated in the event to interact with their favorite idols in close proximities.
“FAN’s Day 2012 ” featured many special programs and events for fans including, exhibition of JYPE artists’ onstage outfits, albums, MDs, profile and BTS photos, music video, making films, free caricature, henna tattoo, snow cone time, and so on. JYP Entertainment’s artists also participated in these programs to come closer to their fans and spend some quality time together.
Ye Eun, Hyelim, Suzy, Fei, and Chansung distributed refreshments and snacks to the participating fans while Wooyoung and Junsu played songs for everyone in the DJ booth. Taecyeon, Yubin, Suzy, Fei, and Junho drew henna and other body paintings on fans’ faces and arms. Sohee, Joo, JB, and JR distributed the tickets and complimentary bracelets at the entrance while San E and Sun Ye performed a special stage to thank the fans at the event.
JYP Entertainment announced, “The artists at JYPE were very honored and happy to spend some quality time with their fans in this non-traditional way. This is not a regular performance stage or fan meeting event. JYP Entertainment and its artists will continue to maintain a close relationship with fans.”
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment held JYP Nation concert on August 4. Approximately 10,000 fans gathered and had a wonderful time with all JYPE artists including, JYP, Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, JOO, San E, and JJ Project for three hours.
