Beast Idol group 2PM's 4th single "Beautiful" went on sale on June 6, acquiring 2nd place on the Oricon daily ranking single chart with a total of 73,529 copies sold.
On top of that, the DVD of 2PM's first arena tour that mobilized 100,000 people last year, "ARENA TOUR 2011 'REPUBLIC OF 2PM,'" went on sale the same day, shining at the number 1 spot on the daily ranking chart for DVDs on the first day of sale, as well as placing 2nd on the compiled DVD chart.
The title track "Beautiful" is currently being broadcasted as a theme song for SEMPIO's Korean Black Vinegar "Fucho" TV commercial, and therefore gained popularity for being revealed to the public ahead of its release. Member Junho's self-composed track "Kimi ga Ireba" was also released.
Furthermore, 2PM will hold interactive high touch (high 5) events, on June 9 at Osaka and June 16 at Tokyo, in commemoration for the release of their new single.
